Tempe Condos Close to ASU

Wake up, roll out of bed, amble to class. That’s the way students like to live, which makes a condo near Arizona State University (and Mill Ave) in such demand. New condo developments are popping up everywhere near Mill Ave and the lake, but the newer communities have a higher price tag.

For condos under $150,000, a little more in line with the student budget, there are several choices:

Scene One : nice clean 2 bedroom condos with a pool & washer and dryer in unit. Good location on University near a few restaurants and an easy bike ride to campus.

Los Prados: Built in the 1980’s, the community is nothing fancy to look at, but it has a pool, spa, sports court & sand volleyball court.

Hermosa Place – Hermosa Place is a smaller development with about 40 units on University. Over half the buildings were constructed in the 80’s but a few buildings are recent additions, built in the 2004-2005 timeframe. Pool and covered parking. One of the closest affordable condos to the University campus area.

Regatta Pointe – Gated condo development WITH GARAGES, built in 2002. Near Tempe Town Lake and the light rail.
